The original reasons for choosing Croatia are still calling us back 10 years after our first event: its rustic charm, oodles of history, spectacular scenery and of course, undoubtedly smooth sailing are the very essence of this Adriatic jewel. It’s so good, we do it twice, with two routes (Black and Red) visiting the same spots but in a different order. Both of these routes host up to 50 yachts.

On Fridays we arrange a regatta for all the yachts. By now you should have your sea legs firmly fastened and be able to help out your skipper like a top race crew. The regatta winners are chosen based on sailing time and atmosphere on board. Two of the most popular TYW events are hosted in Hvar; one at Hula-Hula beach bar and the other at Carpe Diem, both to be enjoyed in considerable style, of course. All yachts are moored in Palmizana marina right outside Hvar.

• Guests driving or moving yachts is never a good idea. This is The YachtWeek not Titanic.

• Even though dinghy sounds like a toy, it's not. Don't attempt to move itunless the Skipper says.

Invite others on toyour yacht and get to know each other. When walking between yachts pass via thefront (bow) and not through the cockpit.

SAFETY ADVICE 安全建议
• Guests driving or moving yachts is never a good idea. This is The YachtWeek not Titanic.

• Even though dinghy sounds like a toy, it's not. Don't attempt to move itunless the Skipper says.

• Please don't untie any rope, string or halyard if you are unsure what theyare. These are a skippers pride and joy.

• Never jump off a moving yacht or when the skipper is mooring, anchoring orparking.

• Night swimming is a no no in marinas and ports. Sorry no late night skinnydips.

• Only use fenders to fend off the yacht, never use any part of your body,no matter how big or strong.
• 只用缓冲球抵御游艇碰撞，不要使用你的身体的任何部分，无论多么强大。
• Paper thrown down the toilet causes unpleasant blockages and a hefty fine,use the trash instead.
• 纸请丢进垃圾桶，若丢进马桶造成堵塞将会有高额罚款和不愉快。
• Yacht windows are the same as normalwindows. If jumped on they will break.
• 游艇窗口和正常窗口一样。如果跳下去踩到它们会被打破。
